Accommodation - The Gypsy Caravan

The Gypsy Caravan was built over the period of a year, by the entire family; although without the craftsmanship of a certain member of our family the caravan would never have come to be. The caravan is a chance for you to enjoy our property located in the Shell River valley, near Roblin, Manitoba. Our farm is located on acres of unspoilt, as nature intended aspen parkland, coniferous woodland and native prairie. The banks of the Shell River hold may wonders - crayfish, crabs, oysters and plants such as fresh spearmint, water lillies and of course willows. You can pass your time trying to catch a fish or looking up to the skies to catch a glimpse of the Bald Eagle, Heron or Pelicans. Roam our hillsides and discover the many plants, native grasses and wild flowers that carpet them.

You are welcome to visit with our farm animals during your stay; and although our pack goat treks have been put on hold for 2010, they are still offered as a complimentary option with the caravan.

Rates for 2010

We are now taking bookings for the 2011 season (May 20th to September 15th 2011) at $75 per night.

The caravan will be available from May 25th to September 1. To place your booking please
contact us.

*Included with the caravan: camping stove, bedding and bed, cutlery, shower, toilet and hot water.
